What's new and happenin' in the world of Dave's Ukes!
We had a very fruitful winter making a variety of ukulele’s for the upcoming summer festival season. At this point all the festivals we wanted to vend at have been cancelled. We have upgraded the web site and are looking forward to what the future brings.
Our galleries now feature our custom ukuleles and our entry level ukuleles. The Custom ukuleles are made using beautifully figured exotic woods such as Koa, Cuban Mahogany, Bolivian Rosewood, Mango and others. Some of the appointments we use are handmade parquet rosettes, abalone inlays, radiused fretboards and handmade wood bindings. Check out the gallery to get a sampling of some of the ukuleles on hand.
The entry level ukuleles are built using solid Mahogany with Mahogany or Spruce soundboards. Pin stripe rosettes, Ebony fretboards and saddles, bone nut and saddles and Grover tuners. We are very proud of these ukuleles.
